The BBC have today released promotional pictures for the new series of The Hollow Crown. Comprising of the first three parts of Henry VI and Richard the Third, the new series tells the spectacular tale of the War of the Roses in which the Yorkists fought the Lancastrians for the throne of England. The series stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Dame Judi Dench, Hugh Bonneville, Sophie Okonedo and many more. The series was filmed to mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death. It will be broadcast this month on BBC Two.
