Icon films have today released promotional pictures of Natalie Dormer in The Forest. The film is directed by Jason Zada and written by Ben Ketai and Nick Antosca and Sarah Cornwell and will be released in the US on the 6th of January 2016 and will be released in the UK on the 26th of February 2016. The story is set in the Aokigahara Forest, an exisiting forest at the northwest base of Mount Fuji in Japan where people go to end their lives. Against this backdrop, Sara (Natalie Dormer), a young American woman comes in search of her twin sister, who has mysteriously disappeared. Despite everyone’s warnings not to “stray from the path,” Sara dares to enter the forest to discover the truth about her sister’s fate, only to be confronted by the angry and tormented souls of the dead who now prey on anyone who crosses their paths.
