The BBC have today released a new promotional picture for the eleventh episode of Series 9 of Doctor Who. Starring Peter Capaldi episode eleven, Heaven Sent is written by Steven Moffat and will be the first ever episode to only feature The Doctor and the monster of the story, The Veil. The episode also sees the return of director Rachel Talalay. The episode is the first of a two part story that will end Series 9 in a spectacular style. It is set to be broadcast on Saturday the 28th of November. Synopsis below:
Trapped in a world unlike any other he has seen, the Doctor faces the greatest challenge of his many lives. One final test. And he must face it alone.
Pursued by the fearsome creature known only as the Veil, he must attempt the impossible. If he makes it through, Gallifrey is waiting…
