Doctor Who: Robot of Sherwood Synopsis and Broadcast Date Released

The BBC have today released the synopsis and air date for the third episode of Series Eight, Robot of Sherwood. The episode stars Peter Capaldi and The Doctor with Jenna Coleman as Clara. The synopsis is below:

In a sun-dappled Sherwood forest, the Doctor discovers an evil plan from beyond the stars and strikes up an unlikely alliance with Robin Hood. With all of Nottingham at stake, the Doctor must decide who is real and who is fake. Can impossible heroes really exist? 
The episode will as you might expect be broadcast on September the 6th. No fixed airdate has been given.
