The BBC have today released promotional pictures for Neil Oliver’s new documentary The Search for Alfred The Great. The program sees Neil Oliver go from Hyde Abbey to Colosseum in Rome, from the Norfolk fens to St Bartholomew’s Church, Winchester. The series also examines bones thought to be those belonging to Anglo Saxon England’s greatest King.
