It was announced today at this years Glasgow Film Festival that Nick Hurran would be directing the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special. The story is written by Steven Moffat and stars Matt Smith and Jenna Louise Coleman. Filming for the special begins in April and will be transmitted on the 23rd of November 2013.
